This 10 ft. NEMA 10-30 plug to NEMA L6-30 receptacle power cord has it all with the thickest wire available for these connector standards which yields the maximum current carrying capacity of 30 amps 250 volts current rating and wonÂ’t become hot to the touch when operating in high current situations. The NEMA 10-30 style connector was primarily used for electric clothes dryer applications but is also used for Level 2 EV (electric vehicle) charging as well and is used by ClipperCreek for connecting some of their EVSE car chargers.
