This 10 ft. indoor/outdoor NEMA 6-30 Level 2 EV extension cord has it all with the thickest wire available for these connector standards which yields the maximum current carrying capacity of 30 amps 250 volts current rating and wonÂ’t become hot to the touch when operating in high current situations. The cord is certified to withstand just about any environmental conditions including exposure to the sun and outdoor weather conditions while still maintaining itÂ’s flexibility.
The NEMA 6-30 style connector is primarily used for welders, air conditioners and commercial kitchen equipment applications but is also used for EV (electric vehicle) charging as well and is used by Leviton and others for connecting some of their EVSE car chargers.
