Description
The AFL S017030 CT50 Fiber Cleaver features one-step operation, paired with Bluetooth enabled fusion splicer. It offers automated blade rotation or blade adjustment at the touch of a button, with a clear indication of the blade position. The fiber clamp opens beyond 90° and allows to see the distance scale. The cleave length is 5-20mm with the AD-50 adapter plate and 10mm with fiber holders. The 16-position blade yields 60,000 single-fiber cleaves, or 5,000 12-fiber ribbon cleaves.
The ruggedized CT50 cleaver is shock resistant and can withstand drops up to 30 inches. It comes with a built-in scrap collector, AD-50 fiber plate, spacer, hexagonal wrench, manual and carrying case.
