Description
The AFL 8500-11-0051MZ OPTIPOP-R2 is a two slot model for cleaning 1.25 mm and 2.5 mm ferrule connectors, including SC, FC, ST and simplex/duplex MU and LC. It is used on the exposed ferrules of fiber optic connectors on jumpers. Made of tough ABS resin, the reel type cleaner is perfect for both inside and outside plant applications.
The OPTIPOP-R2 refillable cassette cleaner features:
- Dry pre-washed micro-fiber cloth tape cleans the entire ferrule end-face, mitigating the migration of debris towards the fiber core and cladding
- Dense weave white micro-fiber cleaning fabric eliminates electrostatic charge
- Ergonomic lever advances the tape and retracts the tape shutter
- Yields more than 400 cleans per refillable tape reel
Replacement tape reels, single OPTIPOP-RR or a set of six OPTIPOP-RS, are available separately.
