Tailored for various scenarios, our pre-terminated fiber optic assemblies are ideal for headend termination to a fiber backbone, terminating fiber rack systems, multi-floor deployments, and intra-building backbones. Additionally, our indoor plenum-rated jacket assemblies are suitable for all indoor installations, including plenum-rated spaces, meeting the low-smoke characteristics defined by the NFPA (National Fire Protection Agency).
American Cable Assemblies Standard Manufacturing Features:
- Individual plastic wrapping of connectors prevents contamination from pulling lubricants or other substances.
- Wrap-around labels on both ends of the assembly provide product and serial number identification.
- Pulling Eyes (pulling baskets) feature super strong polyethylene mesh and a free-spinning buckle to prevent cable twisting. Heat shrink tubing is applied at critical junctions:
- Where the basket meets the turnbuckle (pull eye hook).
- At the junction where the basket terminates and connects with the cable jacket.
- Connectors inside the basket are staggered to reduce bulk and enhance flexibility.
- Each strand is equipped with 2-millimeter color-coded or sequentially labeled furcation tubing for easy identification and enhanced durability.
- Comprehensive testing includes visual inspection and professional-grade Loss Test Set evaluation.
- Superior strength and strain relief are ensured through the use of heat shrink tubing and glue set at the transition from jacket to furcation tubing.
- Custom ISO 9001 Certified Manufacturing in the USA with swift turnaround.
- Note: Assemblies over 100ft are spooled for easy deployment; under 100ft are neatly air-spooled.
