MTP® Breakout Cables, also commonly known as MTP® Harness Cables, MTP® Fan-Out Cables and MTP® Hydra Cables, are primarily used to break out an MTP® trunk cable into discrete connectors in order to feed into active equipment such as data distribution patch panels, including plenum applications. With US Conec MTP® connectors, Corning MIC® 250 2.0 Cable and Senko LC connectors, MTP® breakout cable splits one 12-strand fiber optic cable into 12 individual LC cables, and quickly adds 8 LC ports to your network at a time.
