Featuring the Neutrik opticalCON DRAGONFLY, the Camplex HF-NOMNOM-SR (studio) series deliver the most innovative SMPTE hybrid optic cable reel available for TV Camera and CCU applications in studios and indoor venues.

These DRAGONFLY male to male cable reels utilize an expanded beam style system making them incredibly easy to maintain when compared to standard SMPTE hybrid cables. At the heart of the opticalCON DRAGONFLY system is the supper innovative XB32 lens system. It is 322 times bigger than typical physical contact surfaces found on single mode fiber endfaces. This larger lens allows the XB32 system to transmit UHD 4K and 8K signals with very low loss while providing the best immunity in a SMPTE system when it comes dirt and dust protection.

The Camplex HF-NOMNOM-SR backbone is its Belden Hybrid Fiber cable which meets SMPTE 311M standards to deliver a highly durable and reliable studio broadcast fiber cable reel. This composite cable integrates power line for TV camera, control line, and optical fiber for video and audio transmission. The cable is standardized by SMPTE for HDTV Broadcast camera use. Cables consists of two single-mode optical fibers, four 20 AWG and two 24 AWG tinned copper conductors cabled around a steel strength element, with an overall tinned copper braid. This general purpose cable is used for studios, patching and light to medium field use. A flexible PVC blend jacket allows for ease of use within the studio.
