Our Pre-Terminated Fiber Optic Cable Assemblies, featuring an Indoor/Outdoor Plenum Rated Interlocking Armored Jacket, offer a cost-effective solution for applications requiring innerduct or conduit, ensuring superior crush resistance and versatility. This option eliminates the 50-foot fire code requirement for outdoor cables, making it suitable for various indoor and outdoor installations. The interlocking armored design ensures durability, making it ideal for environments with rodent hazards. These pre-terminated fiber optic assemblies are perfect for headend termination, fiber rack systems, multi-floor deployments, and intra-building backbones, meeting plenum installation standards.

- Connectors within the basket are strategically arranged to reduce bulk and enhance flexibility.
- Each connector is individually wrapped in plastic to prevent contamination by pulling lubricants and other substances.
- A heat shrink tubing and adhesive set are applied at the transition from the jacket to the furcation tubing, ensuring superior strength and strain relief during assembly pulling.
- Every assembly is equipped with a wrap-around label on both ends, presenting the American Cable Assemblies part number and a distinct serial number.
- Each strand is furnished with 2-millimeter color-coded or sequentially labeled furcation tubing for effortless identification and increased durability during the entire pulling process.
- Comprehensive test reports accompany each assembly, encompassing visual inspections using a fiberscope of 400 power or better for surface defects, followed by professional-grade Loss Test Set analysis.
- Pulling Eyes (pulling baskets) are crafted from robust polyethylene mesh, incorporating a free-spinning buckle to prevent cable twisting during pulls. Heat shrink tubing is strategically applied:
- At the connection point of the basket with the turnbuckle (pull eye hook).
- At the termination point of the basket where it connects with the cable jacket, preventing snags and ensuring a smooth pull.
- Assemblies exceeding 100ft are spooled for convenient installation, while those under 100ft are meticulously air-spooled.
