DBSM270
Description: Daburn's dual wall polyolefin heat shrinkable tubing is designed to provide a tight moisture proof encapsulating seal. When 120°C/248°F is applied, the inner wall melts and flows, as the outer wall shrinks; forcing the melting wall to fill voids and interstices and to encapsulate the covered object. The result is a semi-rigid mass.
It is suitable as an end cap, strain relief, whip cord for ropes and may be used as a selective potting and/or molding compound over wires and cables.
Daflex SM270 series is ideal for covering splices, cable junctions and as a shield for coarse surfaces. SM270 is flame retardant. It resists oil, hydraulic fluids, acids and alkalis.
Meets or exceeds Mil-I-23053/4, AMS3634, UL 224: 125°C, 600V, VW-1 (Jacket Only).
This series is RoHS compliant.
