Description
The AFL S017004 Fujikura CT08 Rugged, Impact-Resistant Fiber Optic Cleaver is a high-precision, yet economical solution for one-step cleaving of 125µm cladded optical fibers with 250 to 900µm coating. It ensures high-performance splicing and mechanical terminations. This reliable, easy-to-use fiber cleaver offers the blade which yields 48,000 single fiber cleaves. For blade rotation use a thumbwheel on the bottom of the unit and the blade position indicator. The cleave length is 5-20mm with an adapter plate and 10mm with a fiber holder. Fiber shards are stored in the scrap collector.
The portable CT08 fiber cleaver standard package includes: the main unit, AD-50 adapter plate, carrying case, hex wrench, sharps collector and instruction manual.
A fiber holder is optional and is not included with this cleaver. FH-50-250, FH-60-250, FH-50-900 and FH-60-900 fiber holders can be purchased separately.
